What we collect
- When you send a form
- Only what you type in. Sending us a villa: the link, the name you were given and, if you add it, your email and a note. Reporting a mistake: who you are, what you need, a link, your email and details. Agencies: the agency name and website, your name, your work email and a message.
- To stop spam
- With each message we keep a scrambled code made from your connection and the date, never the address itself. It can't be turned back into your address and is only used to limit how many messages one visitor can send in an hour.
- Nothing else
- No cookies, no tracking and no advertising tools. Searching the site sends nothing to us: search runs in your browser.
How we use it
- To reply and act on it
- We use your message to check the villa, fix the mistake or reply to your agency, and your email only to answer you. We never sell it or use it for marketing.
- Who sees it
- Only us. Messages are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and emailed to our own inbox (Google). Both process it only for us.
- How long we keep it
- Up to 12 months after we last reply, then we delete it. Tell us and we'll delete it sooner.
Other websites
- Fonts and agency photos
- Our fonts load from Google Fonts, and the matching photos on some pages load from each agency's own website, so those services see your connection's address, as with any website you visit.
- Links to agencies
- Agency websites have their own privacy rules. Read them before you send an agency your details.
Your rights
- Ask, correct or delete
- You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a month, usually within a day.
- Complaints
- If you're unhappy with how we handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
